Piperacillin belongs to a group of medicines called penicillin that work by stopping the growth of bacteria. Tazobactam 500mg is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Piperacillin against bacteria. Piptaburg 4.5gm Combipack Injection is used to manage several bacterial infections such as lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbation causing breathing difficulties, urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis, skin infections, abdominal, biliary tract infections and female pelvic infections such as postpartum endometritis or pelvic inflammatory disease, bacteremia, and bacterial meningitis in infants and children. Piptaburg 4.5gm Combipack Injection is also used along with other antibacterial agents in the management of neutropenic caused by bacterial infection. Piptaburg 4.5gm Combipack Injection is a combination of Piperacillin 4000mg and Tazobactam 500mg which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics which works by destroying the bacterial growth responsible for causing infections.
