HOW TO WORKS : Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet kills the infecting bacteria where Cefixime 200mg interferes with the formation of bacterial cell walls and forms holes in them and Ofloxacin 200mg inhibits a bacterial enzyme involved in repairing and replicating the genetic material of bacteria, thus making the organism unable to reproduce or repair themselves.

USE FOR DIRECTIONS : Take Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition. Do not stop taking Cefoburg - O Tablet unless your doctor advises you to stop.

SIDE EFFECTS OF CEFOBURG-O : 

COMMON : Indigestion, Stomach pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Gas.

UNCOMMON : 

  • Irritated or Burning eyes

  • Headaches, Sleep disturbances like difficulty sleeping (insomnia)

INTRODUCTION

Cefoburg - O 200mg tablet is a combination of Cefixime 200mg and Ofloxacin 200mg, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in adults to manage typhoid fever (an infection caused by Salmonella typhi, accompanied by high fever, stomach pain, headache, and diarrhea). Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet is also used to manage bacterial infections of the respiratory tract i.e. tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and bronchitis, middle ear, reproductive organs, and urinary tract. Before taking Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet inform your doctor if you have any heart, liver, or kidney problems, diabetes, or fits. Cefoburg - O 200mg Tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it. Avoid consumption of alcohol during management with Cefoburg - O Tablet, as it may impair your ability to concentrate and react. The most common side effects of taking Cefoburg - O Tablet are indigestion, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, etc. Consult your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.

USES OF CEFOBURG-O : 

Cefoburg - O Tablet manages typhoid fever and bacterial infections that occur in Respiratory tract (ex. tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and bronchitis), Middle ear, Reproductive tract (gonorrhea), Urinary tract.

Cefoburg-O Tablet is a combination of two different antibiotics that work together, in different ways, to treat various bacterial infections. Cefixime works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills them. Ofloxacin prevents multiplication and repair of infection causing bacteria and prevents further spread of the infection.This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
